ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!!

As most of you all know Caleb asked me to marry him on Friday May 8th 2009!!! We went out to the ranch for the weekend....after eating lunch in Brownwood we headed out to the Regency Bridge. This is a one lane suspension bridge over the Colorado River and is sooo beautiful! It was just me, him, and God's country surrounding us. He got down on one knee in the middle of the bridge and asked me to marry him! I was so shocked. I felt like I was in a bubble dreaming! Only it was for real!! I had dreamed of this day forever, only it was sooo much better in real life!! Here are pics from this momentous weekend! Enjoy!

Just arrived at the bridge...I'm clueless at this point!

I said 'YES'!!!!

My fiance!!!

What a beautiful day!!!!

Post-op!

Well Bailey did great during her surgery! She only had to stay one night! The next night she decided to snack on her stitches and had to visit the vet again. She was so scared, poor little girl! She's been hopping around on 3 legs and is hyper as ever! 4 weeks of restriction is going to be hard!!

Bailey

My little dog, "Bailey" had surgery on her knee today. Poor girl! She was so excited to leave the house this am and then when we got to the vet, she was not happy. She's a bad little patient. She hides and empties everything 'in' her. Her surgery went well and should be home tomorrow! Here is a pic of her on the way to the vet...she has no idea.

Blogger

Ok so I have been 'blog stocking' some blogs recently, mainly families that have been or are going through some rough times with thier families. Through reading these blogs I've come to realize that blogging is not only a way for them to keep updates on thier familiy, but a way to spread God's word through the way they embrace te Lord through tragic events and constant heartache and challenge. It's incredibly humbling and has made me want to start blogging about my journey through life.
Caleb and I have recently found a church we love and have started building a better relationship with God. I personally have felt major changes in myself and have seen my prayers come alive. I have always been a believer, but I feel like I am now truely a Christian. I have begun reading the bible, and am eagor to get more invlved in church. I find myself to be less judgemental, more patient and an overall kinder person. I have so many friends in my life that are such incredible role models. My life is so blessed. I have so much to be thankful for. I have a wonderful boyfriend, who I am being very patient with! We have an awesome house that is and will always be a work in progress. I have a great job, I'm getting a higher level of education in which I hope to touch our childrens lives in better way than I do now. My life may not be where I had planned it to be, but it is where it is suppose to be!

Gracie turns 1 !!!!

Just thought I post a cute pic of Gracie (Caleb's niece)! She turns 1
tomorrow!!!

Cooking and privacy!!

Another pic of our home!

Ok so I never posted pics of the yard 'before', it was so full of bamboo and ugly halfdead trees, so for you all who have no idea what we have gone through with the yard....the sight of nothing (or just dirt) is a HUGE accomplishment! Caleb has worked so hard getting it to where it is now. Next spring we will sod and it will be a fabulous yard!!!

Caleb put up a fence to keep the dogs in, so they have a huge doggie run in the backyard.

The garage. Yes it's original. It actually has a small room and toilet closet.

TADA!!!! My gas stove/double convection oven!!! Whoohoo!!! No more frozen dinners!!!!

Here is the fml living room

Fml living...the curtains my mom has been working so hard on!!!

Lvg room/Front door...curtains!!

We got a new TV, TV stand, end tables...
